Description

This is Great Blue. Redesigned. Actually, more like updated for dA standards.

As you can see, his new features are-

Great Blue: Navy Blue eyes, different ears, and - yeah, that’s pretty much it.

The big difference here is how I colored. Basically, I began to use many different colors as shades, instead of just one. So the skin is made of the colors Light Blue and Blue.

Great Blue: Did you know that I have 5 shades of Blue on me now? We’ve given you three. Try and guess the other two! (Hint: They’re on the hair, which I think has gotten better.)

So here’s my question: Would you like to see me use this form of shading, or the regular form instead? Be mindful, that this one is still a WIP - It does not have the hard shades and shadows that the other ones have. Answer by commenting below!

I also think I made some improvements in clothing wrinkles as well! I don’t completely suck at those anymore.

Also, please note that the ToonyBits will not have this design until Wave 2. That’s IF Wave 2 comes. Depends on whether or not I think the Toonybits are successful.

Great Blue: Right now, they aren’t.

Also, this STILL isn’t the official reference sheet. The official one will come next Saturday, when I’m not in school. This IS Great Blue’s official design, though. So yeah.

That’s all, for now! Happy March! :D (Big Grin)

EDIT: Sunday, March 1: 9:12 PM ET - Thought the shadow made it look ugly, so I replaced it with an outline instead!

Don't be offended when I say this please, I want to help everyone! I think the shirt looks flat, the wrinkles are are too big, and the pants wrinkles need work, they look like roles of fat (PLEASE do not take this to offence D: ) Also, I use this when I make cloths, try to fit it around the character, like then the cloths take a 3D look, It works for me a lot, but if you are using that cartoon design, skip it. The design can be more advanced than cartoons and then you ad more serious wrinkles, for now, do one or two, and other than that, I love it! The fur looks like fur because of the pencil crayons used. Thumbs up! Remember, please don't take me to offence, I mean my drawing isn't perfect! Thanks for your time :D.
